- Academics
Senior Morghan Kuhn has been named the 2025 Saint Edmund’s Honor Scholarship recipient. She will be honored at the St. Edmunds Medal of Honor Mass and Dinner in October.
This endowed scholarship was established in 2007 in memory of the Society of St. Edmund members who served as faculty and staff at Saint Bernard. It is awarded annually to a Saint Bernard senior who has shown through academics and service the virtues that St. Edmund heroically manifested in his life.
A dedicated student and leader, Morghan balances academics, faith, service, and athletics with remarkable commitment.
This past summer, she worked at Wehpittituck Farm in Stonington and Seven Birds Ice Cream in Mystic, while also volunteering as an assistant teacher at the Mystic Museum of Art Summer Camp, supporting children ages 3–14.
At Saint Bernard, Morghan shares her faith through roles such as XBSS leader, helping guide retreats and representing the school at the Xaverian Brothers Sponsored Schools leadership retreat. She is an active member of Praise Choir, Selfless Saints service club, Student Ambassadors, Bible Study, and the robotics team.
A three-sport athlete, Morghan serves as captain of the soccer, basketball, and lacrosse teams, leading her peers on and off the field.
She plans to pursue a degree in secondary education at a Catholic college, with the goal of living out her faith and inspiring others through her example.
