Senior Named Saint Edmund's Scholar

Congratulations to senior Hope Oulette, who has been named the 2024 Saint Edmund’s Honor Scholarship recipient!

She will be at the St. Edmunds Medal of Honor Mass and Dinner in October.

This endowed scholarship was established in 2007 in memory of the Society of St. Edmund members who served as faculty and staff at Saint Bernard. It is awarded annually to a Saint Bernard senior who has shown through academics and service the virtues that St. Edmund heroically manifested in his life.

At SBS, Hope is an XBSS leader responsible for leading various school retreats and orientations.

She is also an active member of several performing arts groups at school, including drama, a cappella, and praise choir.

Her Catholic faith is very important to her, and she sings in the choir at Saint Mary, Mother of the Redeemer Church in Groton. She also served as a counselor for the church’s Vacation Bible School program, as well as the Garde Arts Center’s Summer on Stage camp. During the summers between school years, Hope works as a waitress.

After graduation in May, Hope plans to major in psychology and attend college near family in Pennsylvania.
