Be A Saint

Welcome to Saint Bernard School!

We are pleased that you are considering a Saint Bernard education for your student. We are a Catholic coeducational day school for students in grades 6 to 12. Accredited by the New England Association of Secondary Schools and Colleges (NEASC), the Connecticut State Department of Education, and a member of the New England Association of College Admissions counselors, we have been inspiring and challenging students since 1956. Located on a sprawling 119-acre campus in Uncasville, Connecticut, Saint Bernard School enrolls students from New London, Middlesex, and Windham counties, as well as southern Rhode Island.

Following the rich traditions of the Catholic faith and the uniquely Xaverian perspective and approach to education, Saint Bernard strives to form young men and women into leaders who are open to growth, intellectually competent, and committed to working for justice and global peace.

Saint Bernard School accepts qualified applicants without regard to race, religion, economic background or social status. We take pride in our students' strength of character, respect for others, and cultural diversity. Applicants should be involved in school or extracurricular activities and demonstrate good behavior.
