XBSS

Saint Bernard School is part of the Xaverian Brothers Sponsored Schools (XBSS), network of 13 Roman Catholic schools across the country that share a common mission and a similar governance structure. 

The values of humility, trust, zeal, compassion, and simplicity are woven into all aspects of life at Saint Bernard School.

XBSS Student Leadership

Each year, our junior students are invited to apply to become our school's XBSS Leaders - a core student leadership group that is chosen through an application process. Six juniors are chosen through an application process and invited to attend the XBSS Retreat.

They have fellowship with over 100 students representing all 13 United States Xaverian schools which are located in CT, MA, NY, MD and KY.  One of our six senior XBSS leaders, who attended the previous year, is also chosen as our Senior Leader of Distinction to attend in a leadership role. New leaders are announced and recognized at the December Feast of Saint Francis Xavier Mass or Prayer Service.
