November Students of the Month
Students of the Month Recognized
Congratulations to the two students who have been recognized as the November Students of the Month at Saint Bernard School - Kaden Lovdahl, a sixth-grader, and senior Terrence Tang.
Every month during the school year, the Student of the Month Committee selects one middle school student and one high school student for exhibiting the Xaverian Brothers spiritual values of humility, trust, zeal, compassion and simplicity.
Kaden participates in soccer, band, jazz band, string ensemble, praise choir, drama and robotics. He takes several classes beyond his grade level. Outside of school he plays basketball and takes guitar lessons.
According to his teachers, Kaden is a sweet young man who has a genuine curiosity for learning and is also very kind to his classmates.
Terrence, an international student from China, has become an integral part of the student body over the past three years. He is a member of the National Honor Society, National Art Honor Society, National Math Honor Society, Silver Cross Society, and is president of the Psychology Club.
His teachers say Terrence is the first to offer a helping hand to his peers and to faculty. He is a tutor to both domestic and international students, and has helped translate important school communication from English to Chinese. Terrence has a zeal for learning, is compassionate toward others, and always has a smile on his face.
Terrence says what he likes most about being a Saint Bernard SAINT is “being surrounded by love and kindness.”
