March Students of the Month
Congratulations to the March Students of the Month at Saint Bernard School: Teresa Murphy, a seventh-grader, and Tian Richardson, a sophomore.
These students were nominated by their teachers for exhibiting the Xaverian values of humility, trust, compassion, simplicity and zeal.
Teresa, 12, of Montville, participates in The Saints Players, our school drama club. Outside of school, she swims and attends St. Joseph Church.
Her teachers say she is quiet, yet a positive influence on her peers in class. They describe her as an intelligent, kind and thoughtful person who is always willing to help her classmates and teachers.
Tian, 15, of New London, is treasurer of Student Council, and a member of praise choir and the yearbook staff. She plays tennis and is on the indoor track team.
Teachers say Tian is hardworking and is always respectful and kind to her classmates. She is easygoing, participates in class, and always comes to class with a sunny, positive disposition.
