Be A Saint
Welcome to Saint Bernard School!
We are pleased that you are considering a Saint Bernard education for your student. We are a Catholic co-educational day school enrolling students from grades 6 through 12. Accredited by the New England Association of Secondary Schools and Colleges, the State of Connecticut Department of Education, and a member of the New England Association of College Admissions counselors, we have been inspiring and challenging students since 1956. Located on a lovely 119-acre campus in Uncasville, Connecticut, Saint Bernard School enrolls students from New London, Middlesex, and Windham counties as well as from southern Rhode Island.
Following the rich traditions of the Catholic faith and the uniquely Xaverian perspective and approach to education of Theodore James Ryken, founder of the Congregation of the Brothers of St. Francis Xavier, Saint Bernard strives to form young men and women into leaders who are open to growth, intellectually competent, and committed to working for justice and global peace.
Saint Bernard School accepts qualified applicants without regard to race, religion, economic background or social status. We take pride in our students' strength of character, respect for others, and cultural diversity. Applicants should be involved in school or extracurricular activities and demonstrate good behavior.
