Campus Ministry
SBS helps to enrich the spiritual and sacramental growth of our students through campus ministry programs, retreats, spiritual direction activities and community service. Our school embraces our Catholic identity and promotes the Xaverian spiritual values of compassion, simplicity, humility, trust and zeal within our school community and beyond.
Campus Ministry is a vibrant, integral component of Saint Bernard School with student involvement at its core. Students are encouraged to develop their relationships with God through prayer as well as service.
Our Campus Ministry program encourages and supports students’ spiritual growth and development. Students are able to seek spiritual formation through daily prayer, theology class, service opportunities, retreats and spiritual direction.
Schoolwide liturgies are celebrated once a month and/or on Holy Days of Obligation. In addition, students may participate in Adoration, the Sacrament of Reconciliation and optional daily prayer and meditation in the school chapel.
You were created by the God of love in God's image and according to God's likeness, to be a unique expression of that love. It is through you that God desires to manifest love to the peoples of the world in these times. (Fundamental Principles of the Xaverian Brothers)
