Student Activities

Ambassador Club

The Student Ambassador Club is a service club open to all students. Ambassadors are student leaders who work with the Admissions Office and are responsible for making incoming students feel welcome and comfortable. They share their pride and enthusiasm in being a part of the Saint Bernard Community. Ambassadors assist with Open Houses, Back-to-School Night, the Shadow Program, and more. Some Ambassador service fulfills community service hour requirements.

Chamber Orchestra

This select group of instrumentalists performs at the Christmas and Spring Concerts, and at other invitational events. Interested students are welcome to audition.

International Club

Students from all grades and backgrounds meet monthly to learn more about our global community.  Students and occasional guest speakers share history, culture, food, and the arts of countries from all over the world.

Calculus Review Group

Designed for students who intend to take the AP Calculus test in the spring, but open to anyone with interest.

Mock Trial

Mock Trial provides students with an understanding of the nation’s judicial system and offers experience with critical thinking skills. Students prepare a trial issue and present their case, both prosecution and defense, competitively before a judge. Enrollment in this activity is limited!

Praise Choir

Students in grades 6 through 12 come together to prepare and lead musit in support of our School Masses

Student Council

The Saint Bernard Student Council includes representatives from all grades. Membership in Student Council provides many leadership opportunities for students.  The group is active throughout the year with activities such as Homecoming, pep rallies, Spirit Days, Annual Talent Show, the Thanksgiving Food Drive, and school dances.

The Phoenix is a student-produced annual record of life at Saint Bernard School. The yearbook staff obtains photographs of students, faculty, and staff, as well as sports, clubs, and campus activities, then creates the layout for the yearbook.  A supplement of graduation and end-of-year activities is produced during the summer months and distributed early the following school year.
