Instructional Activities

  • Our Arts Workshop is open to all interested students each Monday after school.  Parents, faculty members, and friends who would like to learn more about various art processes are also invited to take part.

Students are encouraged to participate in local, state, and national contests.

  • Connecticut Scholastic Art Exhibit: Saint Bernard students have been very successful over the past decade, receiving Gold Keys, Silver Keys, and Honorable Mentions in drawing and 2D Design.  Most recently, a member of the Class of 2015 received a Regional Gold Key for Drawing and Illustration and was then awarded a Silver Key at the national level.

  • Mystic Art Competition and Show

Advanced Placement portfolios, submitted in early May of each year in Drawing, 2D Design, and 3D, are continually successful.
